Today we headed to St. Louis to overnight before our jaunt to Fort Myers, FL.  We haven’t had a real vacation in forever.  Most of our trips have involved either family, SCA, or sci-fi conventions.  This time, it’s all about us.

 

Well, mostly about us.  Part of our trip is to visit my wife’s grandmother who is not in the best of health.

 

We arrived at Will Rogers Airport at 5:00 p.m. to hear that all flights had been delayed an hour, so we grabbed a quick bite to eat.  We boarded our plane  at 7:30, and arrived in St. Louis at 9:50.  We got to La Quinta at approximately 10:40, and settled in before a 4:00 a.m. wake-up call.
