dotNet Addict nails ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley
Mary Jo Foley, a “journalist” for ZDNet, has written yet another “unblinking eye on Microsoft” (rather “puckered lip on MS’s butt”) article saying how much Leopard looks like Vista. Instead of taking apart her stupid, uneducated article myself, I’ll refer you to the dotNet Addict for his point-by-point dissection of Ms. Foley’s errors. This guy is a Windows developer who has programmed in Windows Native code for years. Recently he tried Cocoa and Objective-C on MacOS X, and developed an app in 1/3 the time. He’s not a Mac addict yet, but he certainly has more of an educated viewpoint than some hack journalist who fancies herself knowledgeable on MacOS after one Keynote.
I’m starting to wonder if the “Media” badge given by Apple to journalists equates to a “stupid” flag.
